Project Brief
This home renovation in Armadale needed to be done carefully. The brief from our client was to renovate the old ensuite, update the walk in robe, new kitchen installation and new laundry. The client also needed us to build a new fireplace surround. These changes would significantly update the old areas and make the main bedroom area more liveable. As with all period renovations, care was taken when removing old wall and flooring materials.
The Work We Did
Once the planning was complete, the first step was to carefully remove the ensuite flooring and old plaster.
- Complete strip and rebuild of the ensuite including waterproofing and new vanity, shower and toilet.
- Reconfigured the walk-in robes area with custom cabinetry.
- Remove and installed new kitchen with a couple of new windows so the area worked better. Also adding a dog door in the new window.
- New laundry with air conditioner unit in laundry ceiling.
- Built new TV and fireplace surrounds.
- Significant wiring to make the spaces work better.

The Result
This project was built on time and on budget. Which was much appreciated by the client as older house renovations can sometime reveal more work once old materials have been taken out.
Our client loves the renovation and modernisation of her home. It has made the house a lot more liveable, and the new finishes vastly improved the look and feel of the property.
As with many well-planned renovations we do, there was a significant increase in property valuation after this home renovation in Armadale was complete. Which was a bonus for our client.
